Bicol Once Again

It’s holy week and this is the time where family bonds, get together and spend wonderful time with them. Last April 8-12, we’ve go to Bicol, our province.

Luckily, this time, we’ve had our private car (ofcourse that was not ours but rented to Cris’ dad haha). We’ve left Cavite around 8:30 PM since I have my job that morning. The car is full of things — the foods, things, pillows and others exessive baggage hahaha.

Ok let’s go, we’ve took the Carmona exit to South Super hi way then to Laguna, Batangas then Quezon. The road is so much like going to Baguio. It makes me dizzy haha. The road was very dark and scary but it’s fun.

After a long, long hours of driving, we’re finally in Maharlika Hi Way which is the only way to Bicol. The road is not that smooth but not that rough though.

After 12 hours of journey, we’re finally in Ligao City, Albay, my hometown. It’s was good as before though theres too many renovations after the past years. The old house, my great gandmother’s house was old as before but homey.

We’re all tired of the byahe so we took our nap. Later that afternoon, we’ve go to Kawa-Kawa Trek located at Brgy. Tuburan, Ligao City. Lucky that my aunt lives near there, we ate first then proceed ahaha..

After roughly 30 minutes to go to the top of the hill (but there’s no top, it’s just flat haha) we’ve seen the beautiful skyscrapper look of town — fresh air and a beautiful view of Mayon Volcano. Going down the hill is just a pain! But its fine haha.

The next day, since it’s good friday. We joined the church activity which is the processions of images. And again, it’s too tiring.

Saturday, we go to the Albay Park and Wildlife. It’s a zoo so definitely we’ve seen animals :p but, the place is just boring. There’s only a little number of animals living there maybe its just because the zoo is just beside the airport which disturbs the animals. After that, we go to mall which is the Pacific mall and Metro Gaisano Legazpi which is interconnected. After some time to take a rest, we move to our next destination which is the view of Mayon. But, since we don’t want to pay, my dad just drop us beside the hi way and have some picture taking session and we don’t care on the vehicles and buses passing by.

After that, we go to Pioduran, this is our first time to go there and it’s amazing how it looks. That is where the road ends and we’ve seen the sea.

haaay, it’s such a tiring day again hahha.. Oh, we also go to cemetery to visit our relatives and proceed to go home to take a rest.

The next day, Sunday, we’ve joined again the church activity which is the celebration of the easter Sunday — procession, holy mass and presentations. After that, we go to market to buy some pasalubong hehhee.

Sunday night, we finaly leave Ligao City and go back to our home — Cavite.

It was such a nice adventure for us, we’ve seen our relatives again after several years, join and experience once again the holy week in Ligao after a long, long years, and lastly, take a break in our daily stressing lives. I hope that next year, we go again to my home town and experience new things. I will miss that and I will surely do.

Oh by the way, this is my beautiful shot of Mayon Volcano which is also my wallpaper. Just click the image to view it’s full resolution, and last, if you use this please credit me ok. šŸ™‚
